PFWBS collects this information so that we can keep track of the accidents, document the product that injured the child, and use this information to work on getting that particular brand of window cords recalled through the US CPSC.

Legal Help

Parents who have lost their children to strangulation often face many questions by the police and sometimes the Department of Family Services.  While it is normal for these agencies to do their jobs, there are many times these agencies are not educated on the various ways children can get trapped in window covering cords.  In the past, we have educated law officials who had never heard of these types of strangulation.  We have helped families in the past who were being wrongfully accused of the death of their child.  If you need legal help, please contact us.
